About CoachPrep

Meet Trey Henderson

I built CoachPrep to help coaches prepare for ICF credentialing with more clarity, more real practice, and less overwhelm.

Trey Henderson
ICF PCC coach, mentor coach, meditation facilitator, agile coach, and trainer.

I'm Trey Henderson, an ICF PCC coach, mentor coach, meditation facilitator, agile coach, and trainer. I spent 21 years in corporate life working across technology, leadership, agile transformation, facilitation, and human development.

I built CoachPrep because most credential prep comes down to memorizing competencies, taking practice exams, and trying to figure out what you're still missing. The material is important, but the process can feel scattered and overwhelming.

I wanted one place where you could study the Core Competencies, practice ACC and PCC questions, understand why one answer is stronger than another, and use your results to see what to work on next.

My belief is simple: coaching mastery comes from presence, practice, reflection, and compassionate challenge. Whether you're preparing for ACC, working toward PCC, or simply wanting to coach with more skill and groundedness, CoachPrep gives you a way to keep growing without drowning in the process.

I bring ICF coaching, mentor coaching, meditation, facilitation, agile coaching, and systems thinking into this work, along with years spent training coaches, agile practitioners, product owners, and leaders. What I care about most is helping coaches move from "Am I doing this right?" into a deeper trust in their own presence.

There are no scripts here. No one-size-fits-all advice. Just real guidance, real practice, exam prep, and coaching tools that help you understand the ICF Core Competencies while finding your own voice as a coach.

My approach mixes structure with intuition, clarity with compassion, and learning with real practice. Great coaching isn't about performing perfectly. It's about becoming more present, more curious, more courageous, and more useful to the person in front of you.

Outside of mentoring coaches and building CoachPrep, I'm usually teaching, leading meditation, building new coaching tools, spending time with my daughters, singing, hiking, or exploring the edge where personal growth, creativity, and transformation meet.

If you're preparing for ICF credentialing or looking for mentor coaching support, CoachPrep can help you see where you stand, what to strengthen, and what to do next.
